Pivot Table Problem

Hi,

Here's my set up.

Excel 2003

Sheet(1) contains output from an ODBC source that changes montly
Sheet(2) contains a pivot table based on data from Sheet(1)

The "Page" section of the pivot table contains the month numbers. e.g. 7,8,9 from Sheet(1)

What I want is (for this pivot table only) is show only the Max month. e.g. 9 in this example, rather than all 3 months worth of data.

I have tried applying the MAX on the field settings in the pivot table but it doesn't work.

Is there a way I can constrain this either in the worksheet or via vba please.

Thanks
Matt

Waterfall charts in Excel?
Office 365 customers have access to Waterfall charts since late 2016. They were added to Excel 2019.

Hi Matt,

I found out today from Andrew Poulsom (Spelling  ) that you can right click your page element and click field settings.

Then there should be a list of all the months available to that page element which you can select to be hidden.

Any good to you?

Some other bod will have to tell you how to automate it with code.
