Afternoon,

I have a table feeding a pivot table with data, but I have noticed that the table figures and pivot table figures are different.

ie the table shows 29,645 call, but when the pivot table runs it shows the value as 16,834

The Value is showing as "sum" in the pivot table values, is there anyway I can just pull the figure as is through as I have slicers on the pivot table?

thanks in advance
Gavin

Excel Facts

Excel Can Read to You
Customize Quick Access Toolbar. From All Commands, add Speak Cells or Speak Cells on Enter to QAT. Select cells. Press Speak Cells.
Pivot tables always aggregate figures in some fashion. If you only have one figure that is relevant to a particular value cell in a pivot, then SUM makes no difference anyway, and if you have more than one, which one would you want returned?

thanks, I am using slicers to filter the data to Area and Manager.
The data is on another tab in the workbook, but when I say choose Manchester(Area) and Gavin (Manager) the pivot table to filter to the right information in the ROW, but the Values are out.
ie in the table the pivot is linked to it shows 3,000 but then pulls 1862 through as the value.

I could recreate this using sumifs, but this would be quiet long winded.

thanks

Has the pivot table been refreshed? Are you sure there is only one value for that area/manager combination?
