hello, i have a data set that looks like following below. i want to bring in the columns that show "yes" "No", how would i do that. so in the example below i would want the pivot table to show John doe RPE 1 Growth 1 week "yes" and 2nd row would show Jane Doe RPE 4, Growth 1 week "no"
NameRPE1 weekGrowth 1 Week
John Doe1323Yes
jane doe40No

Excel Facts

When they said...
When they said you are going to "Excel at life", they meant you "will be doing Excel your whole life".
you could add in the ROWS list,
Show in tabular form
And then on the Growth 1 week - filter to only show YES & NO
See screen shot sample

also loaded in XL2BB format
Book1
ABCDEFGHIJ

i made a pivot table from your data example
hello, i have a data set that looks like following below.
So i selected A1:D3

then inserted a pivot table,
so in the example below i would want the pivot table to show John doe RPE 1 Growth 1 week "yes" and 2nd row would show Jane Doe RPE 4, Growth 1 week "no"
and put the 4 fields into the ROW Section
then i went to pivot design, and made the layout - tabular - so they all showed in a line
I switched OFF subtotals

then you can filter on the YES/NO column to only show YES & NO's

OR , have i misunderstood
is this the raw data you are showing , or is it already a pivot table - re-reading , I'm now not clear
