Pivot Table Question

I have a pivot table that reads it's data from a spreadsheet. But I have just added another spreadsheet with similar data in it. But it is not formatted the same. It would be difficult to copy and paste the one into the other.
Question - Can a pivot table collect data from two sources of data spreadsheets?

Yes, but... the separate ranges need to be constructed like consolidation ranges which is different from an ordinary data list. Consolidation ranges are usually summarized based on the left-most column and/or top-most row. See the Excel Help topic for "Guidelines for specifying source areas for a consolidation".
