Pivot table question

I created a pivot table from data that went back 20 years. The data source for the pivot table was a dump from an Access query. I have since modified the query to pull only 2 years of data and the new data dump reflects that. I have refreshed my pivot table and I have the date field as part of my filter. But when I got to filter, it still shows 20 years worth of selections. Is there a way to make this update?

thanks
