Pivot Table - Read Only - Password reset of other users

I am trying to refresh a pivot table that is saved as read only by myself. It is prompting me to update a users password. The error message is that the old password is invlid. Is there a way to have the spreadsheets opened with me as the default user. I have no way to know what other user the system is requesting to have their password changed. It may be someone that maintained the file prior to me
