pivot table refresh

so the source table has a Team coulmn and there originally was the team
"Peakers" in the list. and there is a pivot table on this data.

the current source table does not have "Peakers" as one of the teams, yet it is still appearing in the pivot table. refresh does not remove it.
and there are other entries still appearing in the pivot table whicha re no longer in the source.

how can they be removed without reconstructing the pivot table?
