Pivot Table renamed items "myItem" -> "myItem2". Why?

Hi everyone,
this is my first post.

I have a table in excel like this:

State
City
NYNew York
NYAlbany
FLMiami
FLTampa
WashingtonSeattle

Then I created a pivot table and played around, adding lines, changing values on the table. Etc.
The problem is, my pivot table now displays this:

NY
New York
Albany
FL
Miami2
Tampa2
Washington
Seattle

If I remember well, I previously did a typo in FL, refreshed the pivot cache, corrected and then refreshed again. I'm only noticing this number 2 at the end now, so I'm not sure why or when it appeared.

Please excel gurus, help me on this.

Best regards.

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
SOLVED:
1. Select Pivot Table
2. On the Ribbon go to Pivot Table Tools
3. Actions pane
4. Clear drop down menu
5. Clear all (pivot table will be reset)
6. Build again the pivot table, selecting the fields, applying formats, etc.

Maybe is just a workaround. I still don't figured out what caused or how to prevent.
