Hello

I was hoping somebody could help me with a pivot table question.

I have a large data set that I have pivoted to get it into the correct format. All is ok so far - however I then need to upload that information into a different system. I can copy paste values but then I 'lose' the row information that is contained in the rows.

For example:

Brand Season Product Line jan

Brd ED CD £100
XM CD £250
BK £25

I need to see:

Brd ED CD £100
Brd XM CD £250
Brd XM BK £25

Do you have any suggestions? I have had a good look around Excel and the help function but I couldnt find anything.

All help appreciated.

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
Do you need the pivot table functionality?

If you don't then just copy the pivot table and paste special values to another worksheet then try this.
  1. Select the column with the blanks.
  2. Goto Edit>Goto...Special and select blanks.
  3. Goto the formula bar, enter =A1 (or whatever the first cell with data is) and then press CTRL+ENTER.
  4. Select the column, copy and paste special values.
