Is there a way to "deselect" items in a pivot table in mass as opposed to individually?
Note: I have created groups, but the request that I have received from the users of my pivot table is that they want to be able to quickly select all or deselect all to view
1. all members
2. only one member (this will change based on what they want to view - example show me PA, then show me OH, or CA or FL....)
3. select members

The change from all selected to one member selected is the time consuming process

Excel Facts

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
No, but you could create a field in your data list whose formula produces TRUE for the items of interest. Move that field button to your PivotTable's PAGE area and select TRUE.

The ability to deselect/select all items in a field with a single click has been added in ExcelXP. But I sure wish I had thought of that trick before... that was always such a pain.
