pivot table styles applied during a macro not saving

I run a macro that creates a pivot table, gives it a style, and puts all borders on all cells.

The problem is it looks fine after the macro runs but if I close the sheet and then re-open it the pivot styles are gone. The workbook is saved after the styles are applied so that's not the reason for it.

I have the macro apply pivotstyle16 on the pivot table.

Any idea how to solve this?
