Hello

I am starting a food diary for my daughter and I want to use Excel (of course).

The food she eats will be detailed in column C in this format...

Grapes, apple, strawberry etc etc

So each item will be separated by a comma then space all within one cell.

As the entries grow I want to track what foods she eats most. E.g if she has grapes every day I'd expect the pivot (or some other suggestion) to put grapes at the top and show the number if times it is appearing in Column C. At the bottom will be foods shes only had once.

Column C will likely end up a few hundred rows.

Any help appreciated and happy to consider a different solution to a pivot.
