I have a pivot table which has various fields, including Serial #, Date, and Revenue. The Revenue appears fine as long as I don't have a date, but when I bring in the date field it somehow gets messed up. The Revenue column disappears, and instead seems to somehow become a row on top of Serial #. What?

Dont know if this is related but when I bring in the date (which is in mm/dd/yy format) it instead just shows up as the year. I have to right-click and ungroup in order to fix that.
