Pivot table updating.

Hi,

i have some sheets that collect data that end with a pivot table showing names and total cost in 2 columns..
this table changes everyday as the report is updated but what i would like to do is keep previous data and add todays so the table is forever growing.. not changing based on new data..
hope this makes sense.. any ideas on how i can achieve this?
