Pivot table wizard into Data Model - how to do so?

I'm using Excel for Microsoft 365, I have a dashboard with about 20 charts all derived from pivot tables using the same pivot cache. As they are all grouped on the same timescale, this is no problem.

I now need to create a second pivot table but on a different timescale grouping. I know I can create it with a new pivot cache with ALT-D-P but this option does not give me the opportunity to load it to the data model, and I need to add a calculated measure to the pivot table, an option not available on regular pivot tables.

Can anyone advise how I can get this second pivot table into the data model? Thanks.

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.
OK, I have done some digging myself and found that I can create a pivot table direct from the data model rather than the table itself. All is working perfectly now.
