Pivot Table wont sum negative numbers

Hello,
New to pivot tables and having an odd error. My table wont sum negative numbers. I created a pivot table with "Date" as rows and "P&L" as values. I get zeros on dates with negative numbers in "P&L"


If anyone has any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate the help.

I just found the error - I was using VBA to enter data and had that column formatted to text.... no bueno - Fixed now
