Hi: I have an .xls with 13,000 Unique Items. How does one work around the 8,000 Unique Item limitation?

Excel Facts

Quick Sum
Select a range of cells. The total appears in bottom right of Excel screen. Right-click total to add Max, Min, Count, Average.
A little more on your final objective might give the code gurus something to ponder.

Thanks.
I have a .xls with 13,000 Names in Col A. In Col B, I have 13,000 ID#. Col C has 1 of 5 different Type Codes for each Name.

Every item in Col A, as well as Col B are Unique--there are no repeats.

Does this help?

There's no workaround... You have to find a way to include fewer than 8,000 items in your PivotTable. Perhaps you could add a Page Field that selects fewer than 8,000 fields. Perhaps you could Group some items.
