Hi All,
This is going to sound a little strange so bear with me....
Last week i was sitting with a colleague going through some data and he created a pivot table - this is fine i can do that.
Although he then did a few things to show dates in a weekly bucket ie 12/02/18-18/02/18. The raw data doesnt have that detail it just shows the individual days.
How did he do this?
i would ask him on Mon although hes on leave for a month

example of his pivot table:

Book1
BCD
2Count of Reference #
3Row LabelsTotal
415/01/2018 - 21/01/20184
522/01/2018 - 28/01/20187
629/01/2018 - 4/02/201821
75/02/2018 - 11/02/201847
812/02/2018 - 18/02/201863
919/02/2018 - 22/02/201864

your help is greatly appreciated
thanks
Sam

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
When you have data range in the row part of a pivot table, right-click on one of the dates and choose Group. Then choose Day and set the number of days to 7. This should give you the amount/sum by week of the variable you have in the colum data of the pivot table.
