Is there a way to create a Pivot Table and have each row automatically created into its own tab? I know I used to be able to do this but I havent been able to figure it out in the newer version of excel.

Thanks

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
That was the solution for the older excel verison. The drop down options he referred to were modified in the newer version....at least i think! : )

It is helpful if you let the people volunteering their time to help you know which version you are using, that way the solution can be more tailored to your actual situation ;)

Agreed. Totally my fault. I actually thought our company was behind the times and thus we were the last to move to the newer version.

I have nothing to praise for this site! The people that respond are so helpful and amazingly talented. There have been times where I just had an idea of something i wanted to do in excel and posted the question if it were possible and w/in 5 min i had an answer and explanation!

This place is a great resource! I've gone from a relative novice to actually being able to do something with Excel without having to nag our IT dept ;)

What version is it you're using at the moment 2003, 2007, 2010? (I don't have access to YouTube at work so I can't see what version that is)

BTW I finish soon but hopefully if I've gone someone else should be able to help
