Novice here ...

I created a PT with 100 lines.
the next day it may have 200 lines.
If I hit REFRESH it doesn't look at the 200 lines .

What am I doing wrong?
I don't have to create a whole new PT do I?

Excel Facts

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
Change the data source to include the new lines.
(PivotTable Tools | Options tab | Change Data Source)

edit: be sure to "Refresh All" after changing the Source.

Clicked on the Data Source | Selected the additional Data (Ctrl+END basically reselecting the entire data table .
When I click ok I get an error msg saying that the PT field name is invalid.

Figured it out.
I had changed some of the Column header names and it didn't like that..
REran the PT and tried testing changing it etc.
Worked fine..
