Imagine doing a series of calculations in a column to the right of a pivot table. Ignoring the pivot table for now, I would type, "=← "...and then the rest of the formula. Next, to copy that to the rest of the column, I would type Ctrl+C, position to the appropriate cells, and type Ctrl+v. The result would be a calculation based upon the content to the left of each individual cell.

Following the same keystrokes when pointing to a pivot table cell, the resulting calculations will show results based upon that original cell versus the cell to the left of the calculation in succeeding rows.

Do you have any words of wisdom? Thanks in advance.
