I have a pivot table link from an external access database with >10,000 transaction lines and the fields being:

Account Code
Sub Code
Trans Date
Trans Desc
Amount

I want to show only the transactions where the Total of the amount at the Sub Code level does not equal Zero.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Excel Facts

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
Show Items With No Data

Thanks for the help, unfortunately the show items with data is only a function in the Row Fields. I am trying to restrict the data that is the sum function in the Data Items.

And my situation is a little more complex than that in that it is not the data rows that I want to restrict it is the sum total of the data items if the sum total = 0.

hello. I have a similar problem and was wondering if anyone has a solution.

In the original example, I will have positive and negative amounts. When I sum the amounts for each Sub Code, some of the amounts will cancel each other out and display a total of 0; I don't want to show the Sub Codes that have a sum value of 0. (I do want to show negative and positive totals).

Any ideas?

Thank you and Happy Holidays!
