I have a pivot table with 5 names and i have all 50 states listed. People who have hunting license in these states are listed with true or false.

When I go and do a pivot table it nest the names under the first person that I select. Can someone help me with finding out to stop the nesting? I would like the state to be displayed and the name under the state to be displayed, but this is where my error is. I have also tried grouping and this doesn't help with the displaying either.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Would PivotTable Tools -- Design -- Layout -- Report layout -- Show in Tabular Form display the way you want?

It wont because it displays the state in one column and then the person's name under the next column. What i am trying to do is get this to where it is not a nested table.
