I have a pivot table in my work book working fine, I have my quantities displayed in the 'data field' which is always on the right hand side.

However I would like to have this 'data field' that displays the quantities for each row on the left hand side instead of the right hand side.

So far to date I have not been sucessful in achieving this.

Is this at all possible or is a limitation with pivot tables?

Thanks for your help

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
IF only snapshots are required you can always just copy paste values to a new sheet and then move it around.

Of course you will then loose pivot functions, but values will display as you like.
