Hello everyone,

My problem basically is i'm constructing a time line to show the different times at which a fault occurs in different locations. The data I am using is in the form of excel spreadsheets the difference between the data is the location in the country so therefore all the data can be compared. Ideally I would like to convert the time it takes a fault to arise to the time it is when it clears as some sort of graphical representation such as something like a gantt chart, but i need a much faster way of quantifying the results as i have several thousand. Please help!

Excel Facts

What is the fastest way to copy a formula?
If A2:A50000 contain data. Enter a formula in B2. Select B2. Double-click the Fill Handle and Excel will shoot the formula down to B50000.
A bit outside the square, but I've done similar things using the stock charts (which looks a bit like a gant chart on it's side).

Note - you will need 3 series minimum to use this. You can get around this by using a blank series.
