Hi,

I have a Pivot Table that is adjusted based on a couple of input fields. The user can choose the start and end dates and the input data is amended accordingly, which is then reflected in the Pivot Table.

I have calculation set to Automatic, which means the data is updated immediately, but i still have to refresh the Pivot Table to see the result.

Is it possible to set a Pivot Table to auto-refresh?

Thanks

Steve

Convert text numbers to real numbers
Select a column containing text numbers. Press Alt+D E F to quickly convert text to numbers. Faster than "Convert to Number"
Not that I know of, although if you're worried about users forgetting to refresh, you could perhaps insert a button that launches a macro that refreshes the PT, with some text saying "Remember to refress the pivot table, press this button to refresh" or something similar.

You could do this using a macro when the sheets calculate

Code:
Private Sub Worksheet_Calculate()
Application.EnableEvents = False
    PivotTables("PivotTable2").PivotCache.Refresh
Application.EnableEvents = True
End Sub
