PivotTable Dynamic DDL

I've seen posts regarding how to use Data Validation to create a dynamically updating series of DDLs dependent upon others. I want to do the same thing, but I want to do it for a PivotTable. That way, the user is never confronted with a choice that provides ZERO results.

Is that possible?
