I want to have my data in the data field next to each other, and not below each other. How can I do that?

Example: I have "Average of weight (g)" and "Stdev of weight (g)". The pivottable puts these below each other, I want these in the columns. Is this possible?

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
Hi,

You can drag the data fields to the column area. In Excel 2007 drag the "Values" field in the Field List to the Column area.

In earlier versions, you drag the "Values" field directly in the Pivot Table.
