I have a column of dates and a column of names, where I’m trying to evaluate the data to see quantities per hour by person.
If I use the Recommended PivotTable wizard in Excel for one month’s worth of data, it breaks it down by day then hours, and if I remove the day Rows in the PivotTable sidebar, under each person I then get it grouped and counted by the hours (9am, 2pm, etc.). If I try to do this for more than a month’s worth of data though, I only get Months in the Rows area of the sidebar. How can I get it to do it by Hours there too when it isn't the same month's worth of data?

Sample of data from first column below
6/6/2022 9:16
7/8/2022 14:19
7/8/2022 12:41

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN

Have you right clicked in the Pivot Table field selected Group and selected Month and Hours ?

Thanks, didn't realize there was an affiliation between different websites like that, so thought posting on more was better as I usually don't have good luck with forums.

We are not affiliated, but all Forums have much the same rule about cross-posting.

That did it, if I just change it to hours, all the items under each person change to the hour headings like 7 AM, 2 PM, etc. I knew I was missing something easy, thank you!!
Thanks for letting us know. Glad we could help.
