Placing Cell values as variables

Hello.

I would like to take the numerical contents of one cell and use it's value to specify a cell.

For example, if cell A1 = 10, I would like to take that value and specify it for cell B...

in effect: B(A1) and have the value to that of the contents of cell B10...

Any ideas?

If I understand you what you mean:
=indirect("B"&A1)

This will give you the result of cell B10 if you type "10" in cell A1.
