I'm hoping someone can help...
I have someone that everytime they open Excel 2000 a spreadsheet they once created opens up - this spreadsheet contains links to other workbooks and I believe has macros.
I have tried moving the spreadsheet from the excel startup folder to another folder. (I do not want to delete the spreadsheet since Excel will look for this file and it might cause more errors). I verified the startup folder within Tools>Options.
I have tried reinstalling the whole Office suite, I also tried looking at ALT/F11 and there are many different workbooks in the macro editor but I am unable to delete reference to them there.
What else can I do to have excel open normally.. a blank workbook???
Thanks!!!

Excel Facts

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
From the window menu, click "Unhide" if available. You may have a hidden workbook.

Hey thanks for responding... there isn't a hidden workbook- this does not work. I think somehow the default 'book.xls' was overwritten with this file so whenever Excel launches it opens a workbook... I don't know what to do!

"At Startup, open all files in" remove the folder address. Or remove the file from that folder.
