These are declarations used in vba

Dim is short for dimension and is the way to declare the data type of a variable.

LNumber is the name given to a variable.

Long is a data type for long integers (-2,147,483,648 to 2,147,483,647).

Dim LNumber As Double says that my variable LNumber is going to contain numbers with decimal values.
