The section of my code that is not working is as follows:

With Worksheets("Control Data Sheet (2)").Range("A1")
Range("A1").Value = Me.txtname.Value
Sheets("Control Data Sheet (2)").Name = Range("A1").Value

I get the error "wrong number of arguments or invalid property assignemnt"

This works fine in another spreadsheet so it must be something simple.

Thanks in advance

How to calculate loan payments in Excel?
Use the PMT function: =PMT(5%/12,60,-25000) is for a $25,000 loan, 5% annual interest, 60 month loan.
Try

Code:
With Worksheets("Control Data Sheet (2)").Range("A1")
    .Value = Me.txtname.Value
    Sheets("Control Data Sheet (2)").Name = .Value
End With
