Please help with Excel

Hello, first, I’m happy to be a new member of MrExcel. It's an honor to be here.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" /><o:p></o:p>

For some reason, it's extremely difficult for me to understand Excel jargon.<o:p></o:p>
I know it will take time to learn it but for me, i learn much better from experience than reading up on it.<o:p></o:p>
With that said, can someone help me create a formula?<o:p></o:p>

I have a pick3 and pick4 lottery spreadsheet. I'm trying to do the following:<o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
1. From my draw history, i want to extract values and put the value of the cell into the "odds" column and "even" column category of cells. The numbers are in individual cells.<o:p></o:p>
For Example:<o:p></o:p>
Draw Odds Evens <o:p></o:p>
303 3 3 0<o:p></o:p>
123 1 3 2 <o:p></o:p>
420 4 2 0<o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
2. From the draw history, i want to extract repeating values into the "Repeat" column. <o:p></o:p>
For example:<o:p></o:p>
Draw Repeaters<o:p></o:p>
303 3<o:p></o:p>
123 2 3<o:p></o:p>
420 2<o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
3. From Draw history, i want to extract Leapfrog values into "Leapfrog" column. Leapfrog numbers are numbers that are sequential from one draw to another.<o:p></o:p>
For example:<o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
Draw Leapfrog<o:p></o:p>
303 3<o:p></o:p>
123 1 2 <o:p></o:p>
420 2<o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
4. From Draw history, i want to extract "Doubles" values and put them in the Doubles column.<o:p></o:p>
For example:<o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
Draw Doubles<o:p></o:p>
303 3 3<o:p></o:p>
123 <o:p></o:p>
420 <o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
5. From Draw history, i want to extract "Triples" values and put them in Triples column (like doubles).<o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
6. From Draw history, i want to substitute number values for another number value .<o:p></o:p>
For example:<o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
Draw VTRAC<o:p></o:p>
303 8 5 8<o:p></o:p>
123 6 7 8 <o:p></o:p>
420 9 7 5 <o:p></o:p>

7. From the Draw history, i want to put an "X" in the appropriate column that represents the value.<o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
For example:<o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
Draw 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9<o:p></o:p>
303 X XX<o:p></o:p>
123 X X X<o:p></o:p>
420 X X X <o:p></o:p>

All values are in individual cells. It's my hope to be able to extract these values using a function, vlookup, etc. and place them in the target cells. I hope this doesn't scatter when i post this thread. I hope you can help.<o:p></o:p>
I tried to copy and paste the spreadsheet, but was unable to. <o:p></o:p>
