Hi guys,
I am trying to make a graph to plot a single point based on two numbers (averages of larger series'), where axis x measures the first number, and axis y measures the second. However, the x-axis (I'm trying on a standard scatter graph) seems to be locked to a static 1,2,3...etc which I cant change.

I've attached am image to illustrate the type of thing I'm after.

I'm pretty hopeless at Excel, but thought even I wouldn't struggle with this... and here I am! So grateful for any help :D

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.
Click a single cell with one of the values in it. Create xy scatter. Click the chart and then select data. In the legend entries (series) part to the left click edit. You can then enter your x and y values.
