Age old Data Validation List in excel needs update.
Feature like Search as you type/Filter List as per typed characters/Search Suggestions/Auto complete should be there. Google Sheets has this feature since very long time.
Its more than 5 years since the original post but nobody at Microsoft cares to look. Its high time. I request you to spare just 15 seconds and vote at this link. Currently the vote counter is at 230. Even 100-200 more votes will make it noticeable. Thanks a lot.
