i am trying to use a pop up calendar in a cell.

i have just found out the reason it wasnt working was beacause i have 2 cells merged together.

When I unmerge them it works, but the cell has ###### in it

I need the cells merged which are A16 and B16.

The code line i am using is below

If Target.Address = "$A$16" or Target.Address = "$H$16" then

What do I have to do to allow the 2 cells to stay merged and calendar pop up to work

Thnaks in advance for any help

The easiest way might be to use two other cells as references for your calendar code. After all, you do have 65000*256 plus cells to play with.

You should not merge cells. If you truly have your heart set on merged cells, check out the MergeArea property in the Help files.

Btw, the ####### is either 1) a value which is greater in length than the width of the column, 2) a negative time value, or 3) a formatting issue with your text.

If you want to improve upon it, I recommend removing the merge. Good luck. :)
