Hello

I have a formula which produces a cell address (in the form $C$10). Is it then possible to populate the resultant cell (in this case C10) with a number or something using a formula or does it have to be a macro? Eg, the formula produces cell A1 and A1 gets a 1 put in it. The formula then generates address B15 and cell B15 has a 1 put in it.

Thaaaaanks!

James

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
This would be possible in code.
In normal use we cannot *'put'* something in an empty cell with a formula - in this case cell B15 would need to contain a formula.
