I have a drive (M:\Stuff) that holds data in various .xlsx files. The number of files is not definite and can increase/decrease.

How can I extract the available filenames and populate in a listbox for a user to select the needed data/file?

Excel Facts

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
Try like this

Code:
Sub a()
Dim MyFolder As String
Dim MyFile As String
MyFolder = "M:\Stuff"
MyFile = Dir(MyFolder & "\*.xlsx")
Do While MyFile <> ""
    UserForm1.ListBox1.AddItem MyFile
    MyFile = Dir
Loop
UserForm1.Show
End Sub
