Please help...
I use and create large spreadsheets using Excel 2010 and I have used the data validation tool to insert lists of values to select from. The lists sometimes are long and users don't like scrolling through them to find the value they want. I want to know if there is an option that allows users to type the first character to jump to that section of the list instead of scrolling or if there is any other option that would speed up this process or make it easier.

Wildcard in VLOOKUP
Use =VLOOKUP("Apple*" to find apple, Apple, or applesauce
Thank you again Jerry

I managed to write code of my own using the sample that I reviewed from your post. Thanks for steering me in the right direction. It works perfectly now and I added a few other enhancements.
