Hi All,

Been working on this spreadsheet for some time and have been stuck on this issue for a little while. Everything I try to do doesn't seem to work.

Column G shows "ETA" which is the estimated time of arrival for a vehicle.
Column H shows "Arrived" which is the actual arrival time of the vehicle.
Column T shows "ETA DIFFERENCE" which should show the time difference between ETA and ARRIVED times in a negative or positive value.

I use this formula at the moment in column T - =IF(H4="","",IF(H4>=G4,H4-G4,G4-H4)). 1904 date system is enabled. Nothing seems to be working and when I reverse the formula it gives me the exact same results back.

Hope someone can help!

If you want to display a negative then it might be better ton convert the time to decimal, one formula might be:
Excel Formula:
=IF(H4="","",IF(G4>=H4,VALUE("-" &(G4-H4)*24),(H4-G4)*24))

Cool, might still be worth looking at the decimal option as you will not be able to calculate anything from a negative time. You may not need to but just thinking ahead.
