Possible IF Statement

Sheet 2 D2 - D177 will only populate one cell based on the formula entered. All cells will be blank except for 1.

I want sheet 1 E4 to equal the value in that 1 cell. So, D112 could equal 58.13, and all other cells in D2-177 will be blank.

What formula could I enter in sheet 1 E4? I'm thinking an IF statement >1, but not sure how to do that for the whole column.

=sum(sheet2!D2:D177) if the populated cell will be a number

why not just sum(d2:d177) ?
