Hi I have several spreadsheets all the same (same sheet names etc)
I want to copy and paste some formulas from one workbook to another so that the formula refers to sheets in the new workbook where the formulas are pasted and does not try to link to the workbook where the formula has been copied.

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
Hi,

you could:

Select all the formulas and replace = with e.g. @

Copy and paste the formulas and then replace @ with =
