Hi. I am wondering if you have a method for an Excel problem I am having. Every day I get a list of closing stock prices for all 6,000+ stocks traded that day, by stock symbol and closing price. I would like to have a spreadsheet with an alphabetical list of the stocks by row and each day's closing price added to a new column for each stock's row (for example, stock symbols in Column A, yesterday's prices in Column B, and today's prices in Column C). However, for some reason, not every stock is given each day, so I cannot just copy and paste each day's data in a new column and have the rows line up. Manually aligning each row by hand for 6,000 stocks is too much work. Do you have a method or tool that will accomplish this task for me? Thank you very much.
