Hi all,

A few days ago I was trying to edit one of the tables that I created in the Power Pivot model by going to the design tab, clicking on table properties, and then clicking the design button. However, whenever I click the design button, the text file of the query that I already designed pops up. I would like to be able to click the design button and have the interactive drag and drop query designer be displayed. Is there a way that I can fix this? Please Help.

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
I have heard this before, and never found what causes it to happen. Once it decides it is in "text mode" you are stuck there and can't go back unless you just nuke the table and re-create.
