Power Query Failing to get Contents

Something new, something strange:

I create a new query in PQ (with Salesforce) and grab data. When I go to duplicate a column (I have to have a date column as text and as date) - it gives me

DataSource.Error: Web.Contents failed to get contents from 'https://......;

I've tried creating a custom column and formulating an equation to equal the other, but I still get the web.contents error.

THE STRANGE thing is that this only occurs when I try a new connection. All my existing Salesforce reports are refreshing just fine (and they include this duplicated column).

Any ideas what's going on?

Edited: MS Excel 2016 w/ Power Query

AND, if I copy and paste the code (from Advanced Editor), it works in a new query. But, for some reason, I can't do via the GUI.
