Hi

I have Excel 2016 and Power Query --> Transform--> Split Column has only 2 options, By delimiter and By number of Characters, please see the screenshot in the link
I saw office 365 , PQ-->Transform-->Split Column has more options. Do I need to change anything in the settings to seel all the options or that is by design?
Thank you very much.

Excel Facts

Difference between two dates
Secret function! Use =DATEDIF(A2,B2,"Y")&" years"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"YM")&" months"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"MD")&" days"
2016 has only the two options in the UI. If you wish to use other options in your version, you will have to write Mcode directly and not use the User Interface for splitting columns.

Thank you for all you help, I am just curious, for excel 2010, Power Query needs to be downloaded from Microsfot. does the download has all the updates that the 365 has? If yes, then that is not fair from Microsoft. It is better to have 2010 than 2016 then. Thank you once again for all your help.

The 2010 download does not have all the features of 365. I believe that they stopped updates several years ago for that product.
