Using Power Query in Excel
I keep getting "Unexpected Error" popup message when I move the cursor toward the front of the formula between = and Date.
Why is that? There is no error with the formula.
You need to define the format as a record.
[Format="yyyyMMdd"] might work, but without excel, so not 100% sure.
Inside the format you may need to use a culture definition. I guess it is using the current one per default.
I had the exact same issue whenever I reopened a step using the Gear icon. The only way I was able to stop the error from popping up was to click into the Formula area. Luckily, it seems to have gone away now.
