Hi all

Wonderful way to spend a Sunday - buried in Excel Powerpivot.

I have 4 tables of data (linked via Powerpivot) using a common field (although each table contains different data, i.e table#1 has sales, table #2 has stock etc etc), in this case 'SKU', each table has 'SKU' in it and I'm able to drag and create the relationship without any error messages.

However when I create a pivot table and attempt to pull info from each table, it isn't referencing the data just for that 'SKU' but pulling the total sum of the data for that table, should setting the relationship between all 4 tables with SKU as the link, not allow me to pull data from each table just relating to that particular SKU or do I need to build more relationships?

Any advice would be gratefully appreciated.

Regards

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
what you need is one table that is the lookuptable for SKU. This can be one of your 4 if this contains all possible SKU or a separate one. All other tables need a relationship to that SKU table. If you pull SKU from that table in your pivot it should work.
