Hello,

I have 2 spreadsheets - one is a beast, a power query, power pivot data hub that is shared by a large team. It has a dropdown at the top which allows me to select the product that i am interested in. once selected, the data in the sheet will refresh and pull in from the Datacube/model.

My second spreadsheet is simple, but i need to pull data from the first spreadsheet using a lookup (index/match) > say i'm interested in Product A Sales in December in my second spreadsheet, i need it to lookup the sales in december for product A in the first spreadsheet.

The problem i'm facing at the minute is that it works so long as the drop down in the first spreadsheet is on the product in question - if someone goes in and changes the dropdown to look at a different product, my second spreadsheet values will all change.

Does anyone know how to get around this?? I've searched many threads and videos but cant find the answer (or even the question - perhaps i'm not wording it right)

thanks!
